Crossroads believes camps are a significant part of our Kids and Student Ministries. Camp offers the opportunity for both preteens and students to build relationships with leaders, experience high-energy worship, hear incredible Biblical teaching — all alongside their friends and peers. It’s our prayer that every preteen and every student returns from an incredible week at camp feeling challenged and prepared to be Christ Centered Difference Makers.

The small group leaders who participate in camp are the coaches the students see during services or in their Connect Group. Our coaches have gone through a thorough background check and screening process, as well as completed a child protection training course.

Will my student be placed in group/housing with their friends?

All housing/rooming requests are based on personal preference. We do everything possible to accommodate roommate requests. We understand the importance of experiencing camp with friends! Beach Week Groups are based primarily on each student’s Connect Group. If you are a friend of someone in the group, we will make sure you stay with that group and coach. If you have not been to a Connect Group, you will see a place on the registration form to list your requested roommate.

What if my student needs medication or medical attention?

We will have trained medical personnel with us at Beach Week. All prescription medications and over the counter medications are to be checked in with the nurse the morning we leave for Beach Week. Please do not pack medication with your student.

We’re still working with state and local guidelines and the specifics for each camp and necessary protocols. Once we have the information we will be sure to share.
